Salary: £90-£95 p/day PAYE

Sanza Teaching Agency is proud to partner with a supportive and diverse primary school in Haringey that is seeking a dedicated Year 3 SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team from January 2025.

This exciting opportunity is perfect for someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 support to a Year 3 pupil with Autism, ensuring they are motivated and engaged in their learning.
Encourage the pupil to stay on track with lessons and targets set by the class teacher and SENCO.
Adapt teaching methods to meet the pupil's individual needs and abilities.
Support the pupil's social and emotional development, fostering confidence and independence.
Collaborate with the class teacher, SENCO, and other professionals to deliver effective and consistent support.
Monitor progress and provide feedback to the relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must:

Have previous experience working with children with special needs, ideally within a primary school setting.
Possess a calm, empathetic, and patient approach to working with children.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of Autism and strategies to support children with additional needs.
Show a commitment to promoting inclusion and helping every child succeed.
