The Role:

So, what will you be doing as a Java Software Engineer?

Take a proactive role in designing and developing innovative software tools, architectures, and solutions for future Air Defence Systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment across the development process.
Engage with requirement authorities to capture needs and translate them into robust software solutions.
Support automated target integration, verification, and documentation to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Explore and implement new tools, techniques, and approaches to enhance process efficiency and sustainability.

What are we looking for in our next Java Software Engineer?

A strong background in software engineering, with a focus on system-wide impacts.
Proven experience in Java development.
A collaborative, open approach to development with the ability to maintain momentum in a team environment.
Experience across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements capture to target integration and proving.
Familiarity with additional programming languages such as Ada.
Knowledge of DDS middleware and Real-Time Operating Systems.
