Site Operative

Our client is a multi-award-winning and highly successful family run business, which has built its highly reputable service throughout Surrey, Sussex, Kent and Hampshire. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for someone who has already gained some experience within the construction industry as a Site Operative.

The business has built itself an excellent reputation within the luxury leisure industry with clients ranging from independent businesses to high-net-worth homes. You will be offered full training and your own company vehicle – you will be working out on site, with the construction and installation of domestic swimming pools.

It is essential that you hold a valid CSCS card and have a full/clean driving licence.

Salary: Starting salary of £26,000, along with attendance incentive, pension and company van.

Location: Warlingham

Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8am – 4.30pm (including a 30 minute unpaid lunch break)

* Working on-site at domestic properties, you will be performing general labour duties as assigned by the supervisor

* Assist with loading and unloading materials

* Operate hand and power tools under supervision

* Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and hazards

* Follow health and safety guidelines at all times

* Support other team members as needed

Do you have the requited skills and attributes?

* General Site experience essential.

* Valid CSCS Card

* Full/Clean licence

* Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding environments

* Ability to work as a team and on their own

* Hard working and able to use their own initiative

* Able to liaise with customers in a courteous and professional manner

* Understanding of construction site safety procedures

* Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment

* Basic knowledge of hand and power tools

* Strong work ethic and reliability

* Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors
