My client a fast growing and ambitious retail business in the Trafford area of Manchester is looking to add a Buyer / Senior Buyer - Mens to the team. The business has gone from Strength to strength over the last 3 years. This Ecommerce Brand sells both Womens & Mens product across multiple categories.

Description

Ensuring we have the right product/right price/right time within the range assortment for maximum sales
Negotiating prices across categories, working with merchandiser to ensure we are balancing competitive prices with maximum profit
Regular travel to visit factory base and drive newness selecting from showrooms, building relationships, negotiating best possible costs, units, lead times
Working closely with merchandiser in driving and delivering strategy for ladies stock range - inc budgets, targets, sign offs, weekly trade, intake/replen
Analysing and reacting daily to trend and trade reactions
Managing supplier relationships
Co ordinating with and supporting all teams to manage CP - QC, Design, Studio, Shipping
Driving collaboration with other customers and depts on fabric blocking, style sharing as a business to maximise profit
Maintaining close relationships with other platforms eg Next, TK maxx, new customers
Management of Junior buyer and BAA - workload, development
Regular analysis of competitor activity
Attending weekly fit sessions with QC and design to establish best fits and qualityProfile

Experience working within a fashion brand
Creative and trend driven with a good eye for colour and fabric
Attentive to detail with the ability to think creatively
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Team player and able to build relationships
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
