LEV Engineer

Job Title: LEV Engineer.
Location: Enfield, Hertfordshire.
Salary / Benefits £29k - £48k + Training + Benefits

We are working closely with a longstanding provider of Clean Air / LEV services across the UK. They are now seeking to take on a LEV Engineer to join their team in the South East / Home Counties region. This role would suit someone who is looking to join a continuously growing company who provide high quality installation and testing services to fume cupboards, class 1 & 2 safety cabinets and LEV systems. You will be attending Research, Pharmaceutical and Educational sites. Our client can offer an annual bonus, minimal staying away, company vehicle, and generous salary depending on skills set and experience.

Experience & Qualifications:
" Will hold the BOHS P601 qualification.
" Must have experience working for an established Clean Air / LEV company.
" Excellent communication skills.
" Well versed in relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
" IT literate.
" Prioritising workload in line with company and client needs.
" Able to work well independently.

The Role:
" Carrying out the installations, testing and servicing of fume cupboards and class 1 & 2 safety cabinets.
" Installing, testing & servicing LEV (Local Exhaust Ventilation) systems.
" Changing HEPA and carbon filters when required.
" Carrying out velocity and pressure testing.
" Conducting DOP smoke tests.
" Servicing and maintaining of laminar flow cabinets and hoods.
" Installing PVC and polypropylene ducting and welding.
" Ensuring to provide clients with demonstrations of how to correctly use systems upon completion of installation.
" Carrying out all installations, commissioning, maintenance, and repairs in line with manufacturing guidelines.
" Calibrating, validating, commissioning and modifying systems when required.
" Providing clients with detailed, site-specific reports.
" Ensuring work is carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
