Locum MMT Pharmacy Technician - NHS Hospital, Buckinghamshire

Hunter AHP are currently looking for an experienced Locum MMT Pharmacy Technician to join an NHS hospital in Buckinghamshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacy technician with experience in Medicines Management Therapy (MMT) to play a key role in supporting patient care and improving medication safety within a well-established NHS team.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing Medicines Management Therapy (MMT) services across the hospital
Conducting medication reviews and ensuring the safe and appropriate use of medicines
Liaising with clinical teams to ensure the optimal use of medicines in patient care
Supporting discharge planning, including the preparation and counselling on discharge medications
Managing and reviewing medication-related queries
Ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures related to medication management
Supporting the pharmacy team with the management of stock and inventory control
Requirements:

Experience in Medicines Management Therapy (MMT) is essential
Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) or relevant qualifications
Strong knowledge of medication safety and therapeutic guidelines
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Full-time availability with flexibility for ongoing hours
