Locum Occupational Therapist

Are you a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist in Portsmouth, looking for a community role, conducting face to face assessments?
This role has come about after the MHRA issued a safety alert on 30th August 23 regarding Medical beds, trolleys, bed rails, bed grab handles and lateral turning devices, requiring all patients provided with bed rails or bed grab handles to have a documented and up to date risk assessment.
This temporary locum post is to specifically support this piece of work to ensure the local authority comply with the MHRA in a timely manner.
Connect2socialwork are urgently looking for an Occupational Therapist who is looking to work weekends plus another day during the week. The aim of the team is to provide a robust service to crisis referrals from a front door service in Greenwich.
Pay rate: up to £37.95 per hour
Hours of work: 37 hours per week
Requirements:
A Diploma of the College of Occupational Therapists or BSc Occupational Therapy or any Occupational Therapy qualification recognised by the World federation of Occupational Therapists. or a BSc in Physiotherapy
Current registration with Health Professions Council.
Experience of working in the community in clients own homes as an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist.
A thorough understanding of adult safeguarding.
A commitment to ensuring the client remains at the forefront of all our interventions whilst delivering an effective and efficient service.
The skills of a good communicator
Experience of recording on a client record system.
