Learning Support Assistant - Mainstream Secondary School

About the Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will provide essential support to students in the classroom, helping them overcome challenges and excel in their education. Working closely with teachers, you will ensure all students have access to a positive and inclusive learning experience.

Key Responsibilities

* Support students with their learning, both in groups and on a one-to-one basis.
* Adapt resources and activities to meet individual student needs.
* Assist teachers in creating a welcoming and productive classroom environment.
* Promote independence, confidence, and engagement in learning.
* Collaborate with staff to support students with additional learning requirements.

* Enthusiastic about working with secondary school students and fostering their development.
* Previous experience in a school or youth setting is a bonus but not essential—your passion and willingness to learn are what count
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
* A team player who can adapt and thrive in a busy school environment.
* Empathetic, organized, and dedicated to helping young people succeed.
