Active Personnel are currently recruiting a Wire Cutter to work for our client, a leading waste management company, based in Calverton. This role is night shift-based and involves cutting wire off waste materials to support the recycling process.

The Role

As a Wire Cutter, your key responsibilities will include:

* Safely cutting wire from waste materials using hand tools.

* Sorting and disposing of wire and other materials into designated areas for recycling.

* Maintaining a clean and organized workstation.

* Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.

* Ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and within the required timeframes.

* Assisting with other general duties in the waste management process as required.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

* Experience working in a manual or physically demanding role (preferred).

* The ability to work effectively in a night shift environment.

* Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.

* Good awareness of health and safety practices in an industrial setting.

* A positive attitude and willingness to perform repetitive tasks.

* The ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Working Hours

* Night Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM, Sunday to Thursday.
