As an SEN Teaching Assistant you will:

Assist in the implementation of Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs) and behaviour management strategies.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students during lessons, addressing their specific learning needs.
Collaborate with classroom teachers to adapt learning materials and resources.
Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment where students feel comfortable and valued.
Monitor and track students' progress, reporting back to the SEN coordinator and teachers.
Support with personal care and mobility needs, where required.
Promote a safe and positive learning atmosphere, adhering to safeguarding guidelines.A thriving 2-form entry school in Waltham Forest, London are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to start from January 2025 on a long term contract until July with education and training development in the form of teacher training available for the right candidate.
