Music Teacher

We are working with an outstanding secondary school based in Hillingdon, Uxbridge who are currently looking for a full time Music Teacher.

School are looking for someone to start from January 2025 on a long term contract until July 2025. School are willing to offer a permanent contract for the right person.

This position is full time, working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:00pm.

Salary will match outer London MPS/UPS.

School is located near a tube station and has available parking spaces.

The Music department offers a varied programme allowing pupils to discover areas of strength, as well as areas they might like to improve upon. Through a range of whole class, group and individual activities, pupils have opportunities to explore how great pieces of music were put together, listen actively, compose and perform using traditional instruments and technology.

Qualifications and Person Specification:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A relevant degree
Excellent subject knowledge with the ability to inspire and motivate students
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Approachable and encouraging
