They are looking to recruit a Year 6 teacher starting in November 2024 until Christmas with the possibility of it being extended to the end of the Academic year. The ideal candidate for this Year 6 teacher job in Pontefract will have/be;

Qualified Primary Teacher (UK QTS)
In depth knowledge of the Upper KS2 curriculum
A commitment to delivering high quality teaching and learning
Enthusiasm, energy and flexibility
High expectations and a commitment to raising attainment and achievement.
Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
In return, the successful candidate for the Year 6 teaching job in Pontefract will have/be;

Paid to Scale (M1 to M6)
Able to accrue holiday pay, which can be taken at any point
