Forensic Social Worker - Private

Location: Reading (On-site only)
Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (37.5 hours per week)
Pay: £40 per hour (Umbrella)

Are you an experienced Mental Health Social Worker with a background or interest in forensic settings? We’re looking for a dedicated Forensic Social Worker to join a forensic team in Reading.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive social work support to patients.
Conduct assessments, coordinate care, and contribute to care planning for individuals with complex mental health needs within a secure setting.
Participate actively in MDT meetings, ensuring all social care needs are addressed.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients.
Requirements:

Essential: Mental Health Social Work experience.
Ideal: Previous experience in forensic settings.
Strong ability to work collaboratively within an MDT.
Excellent communication and assessment skills.
