Flourish Education are currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a mainstream Primary School in Cheltenham. You will be working on a 1:1 basis with primary aged children who have severe autism and PMLD (profound multiple learning difficulties).

The Primary school we are working with have an Ofsted rating of “Good” and are based near the St. Pauls area of Cheltenham with great public transport links.

The SEN Teaching Assistant would need to have previous experience working with SEN children and must be committed to a long-term post. The position is to start as soon as possible and will be ongoing until the end of the academic year.

Required skills and experience for the SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) role.

Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
Experience of supporting those with SEN
Committed to long term role
Highly motivated to improve outcomes for children
Have excellent communication skills
Have a secure understanding of phonics and early reading or willing to train
Working as a SEN Teaching Assistant for Flourish Education offers you excellent benefits, including:

Pay from £85 to £95 per day which equates to £18,550 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year.
Up to £100 welcome to the team bonus
The option of PAYE or Umbrella
Holiday Pay - for PAYE candidates you accrue this at 12.07% of your day rate

KCSIE compliant Safeguarding and Prevent Duty Training inclusive of modules relating to legislation, FGM and abuse

Location

The school is in Cheltenham and is easily accessible from M5 and commutable from, Gloucester, Tewkesbury, Swindon Village, Prestbury, Bishops Cleeve, Churchdown and Hatherly. The primary schools all have excellent transport links and most offer onsite parking
