Tekla Draughtsman

A fantastic opportunity has opened for an experience Tekla Draughtsman (intermediate to senior) to join our clients growing Steelwork Engineering business.

You can expect to work on a variety of projects including Portal Frame, Steel Structures both Modular and Light Gauge, and Secondary Steelwork such as stairs, handrails, Juliet balconies etc. Experience in at least one of these is highly desirable.

Tekla Draughtsman duties:

* Producing accurately detailed 3D models in Tekla.

* Produce all material call off, GA & fabrication drawings, CAM data etc from the Tekla 3D model.

Tekla Draughtsman requirements:

* Previous experience working as a Steelwork Draughtsman/Detailer is essential.

* Experience using Tekla CAD software is essential.

* Experience working in at least one of the following (training on others can be provided): structural steelwork, secondary steelwork/architectural metalwork, SFS/light gauge framing.

* Live in a commutable distance to the office – this is an office based role
