We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Autism Tutor to work full-time in Bracknell, supporting students of both primary and secondary age. This role involves working closely with schools and local authorities to provide high-quality, individualised educational support.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver tailored one-to-one and small group tuition for students with ASD at both primary and secondary levels.
Develop and implement personalised learning plans that cater to each student’s unique needs and abilities.
Use creative and flexible teaching strategies to engage students and build their confidence.
Work collaboratively with schools, local authorities, and families to monitor progress and ensure continuity of care.
Provide emotional and academic support to help students overcome barriers to learning.

Requirements:

Proven experience supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) across different age groups.
Strong understanding of ASD and strategies to support students with diverse needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
Flexibility, patience, and a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for students with additional needs.

Desirable Qualifications:

Teaching or tutoring qualifications (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
Relevant SEN training or certifications.
Experience working with schools and/or local authorities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
