Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Physical Education Teacher to join our educational institution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging physical education programmes that promote physical fitness, teamwork, and a healthy lifestyle among students. This role requires a passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all learners.

Duties

* Design and deliver comprehensive physical education lessons that meet the curriculum standards.

* Assess students' physical abilities and progress, providing constructive feedback to encourage improvement.

* Create a safe and positive learning environment that promotes respect, cooperation, and sportsmanship.

* Organise and supervise extracurricular activities, including sports teams and events.

* Collaborate with colleagues to integrate physical education with other subjects and school initiatives.

* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and behaviour.

* Maintain equipment and facilities to ensure they are safe and suitable for use.

Experience

* A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field is essential.

* Previous teaching experience in a school setting is preferred but not mandatory; newly qualified teachers are encouraged to apply.

* Strong knowledge of various sports, fitness activities, and health education principles.

* Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students of all ages.

* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating initiative in lesson planning.
