BUYER
Triton, the UK shower market leader, is looking to recruit an experienced Buyer to join their Purchasing team in supporting the implementation of Triton’s strategic supply chain plans based at their Head Office in Nuneaton, Warwickshire.

You must have a ‘hands on’ approach and be a team player willing to get stuck in to help the team deliver This role requires the ability to work at a fast pace, with some real-life experience in a buyer role, preferably within electricals and electronics, being essential
Main Buyer Responsibilities:
* Achieve materials budget for all assigned purchased items ensuring delivery of PPV (Purchase Price Variance) to budget or better.
* Responsible for maintaining optimum inventory levels for assigned purchased items in line with budget; measured as a monthly average.
* Required to support (NPI) new product introduction plans by managing new tooling requirements and delivering assigned purchased items on time, to cost (to capex or better).
* In conjunction with Head of Supply Chain, supporting team development and implementing supply strategies to meet our strategic plan.
* In conjunction with Head of Supply Chain and supporting team develop and implement supply strategies to meet the strategic plan.
* Maintain effective communication and collaboration to ensure all suppliers selected are developed to meet the requirements of Operations, Quality and Commercial functions.
* Ensure the accurate maintenance of item data for assigned purchased parts is achieved to enable to precise Monthly Information reporting.
* Develop and maintain a detailed knowledge of economic and market trends to ensure informed commercial decisions are made.
The working week will be 37.5 hours based on Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 4:45pm and Friday 8:00am to 12:30pm.
