Your new role as a PLC SCADA Networks Engineer will involve programming, configuring, and managing PLC and SCADA systems, along with smart network configurations. You will be responsible for PLC programming for Allen Bradley and/or Siemens systems, SCADA programming and network interfacing, and the configuration and management of smart networks and IT systems. Additionally, you will integrate Ethernet and fibre network engineering. This full-time office/on-site role is based in Belfast and Carrickfergus.

What you'll need to succeed is a degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, along with proficiency in PLC programming. Strong logical problem-solving skills and a full driver's license are essential. Experience with SCADA programming, knowledge of Ethernet and fibre network engineering, hands-on experience with Allen Bradley and/or Siemens PLCs, a background in electrical engineering, experience in the power generation industry, and professional membership of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) are highly desirable.
