Salary: £80-£110 per day

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Purley. This full-time position involves supporting pupils in Key Stage 2, ensuring they thrive academically and socially in a nurturing learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to pupils, including those with additional needs, to help them access the curriculum effectively.
Assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
Work one-on-one or with small groups to offer targeted interventions.
Support pupils' social and emotional development, promoting positive behaviours and attitudes.
Collaborate with staff and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.

The Ideal Candidate:

Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant in a UK primary school.
An understanding of supporting Key Stage 2 pupils, including those with special educational needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting children's learning and development.
A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
