Key Responsibilities

As the Year 5 Class Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons aligned with the Year 5 curriculum, fostering a love of learning and encouraging critical thinking.
Support students in developing key skills in preparation for their transition to upper KS2.
Plan and assess effectively, adapting lessons to meet diverse learning needs and ensuring all pupils make progress.
Create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity, independence, and collaboration.
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues, contributing to the vibrant school community.
Uphold safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all students.

What We're Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching, with a strong understanding of the Year 5 curriculum.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
A reflective practitioner with a commitment to professional growth and the ability to contribute positively to the school ethos.
