PE Teacher

About the Role

Position: Full-Time PE Teacher
Location: Torquay, Devon
Start Date: December
Duration: Long-term, potentially through to the end of the academic year
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality PE lessons across KS3 and KS4, engaging students and fostering a love of physical activity and sports.
Plan and execute a varied curriculum, catering to a diverse range of abilities.
Support and encourage student participation in extracurricular sports and physical activities.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote health, wellbeing, and teamwork throughout the school.

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Proven experience teaching Physical Education at the secondary school level.
A genuine passion for sports, fitness, and student development.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
