We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Teacher to join a dynamic team in a Secondary Complex Needs School located in Islington, London.
This exciting opportunity is ideal for an experienced SEND Teacher who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of students with diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities: Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with complex learning requirements.
Create and maintain a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic and personal development.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including teaching assistants and support staff, to ensure the holistic well-being of students.
Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to address specific learning goals and objectives for each student.
Employ a range of teaching strategies and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to parents, carers, and relevant stakeholders.
Participate in school-wide initiatives and contribute to the development of the SEND curriculum.
Requirements: Proven experience working with students with complex needs in a secondary school setting.
Strong understanding of SEND practices and a commitment to inclusive education.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students with various abilities.
