The successful candidate will be joining the English faculty whose core mission is to ensure all students leave school with a secure understanding of the English literary canon, the ability to communicate confidently through written and spoken word, and a critical and personal engagement with a wide range of texts.

If you are interested in this role, APPLY NOW Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and creative English lessons that cover literature, language and effective communication skills.Foster an inclusive and stimulating learning environment where students feel confident to explore and discuss a wide range of texts.Encourage students to develop critical thinking skills and respond personally and analytically to literature.Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development.Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the English curriculum.Inspire students to develop a love of reading and a deeper understanding of literature and language that will stay with them throughout their lives.Qualifications and Skills: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required for this position.A relevant degree in English, Literature or a related field.Excellent classroom management.
Experience as an English Teacher at KS3 - KS4 level.Strong knowledge of English literature, language and pedagogy.Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.In Return: Competitive pay to scale daily rate ranging £170 - £250 per day commensurate with experience and qualifications.Possibility of long term or permanent position with opportunities for career development and progression.A supportive and collaborative work environment committed to high academic standards.Access to ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
