About the Role As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in developing and delivering innovative solutions across the entire product lifecycle.
Working alongside a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will be responsible for creating robust, reliable, and efficient designs that meet stringent industry standards for safety and performance.
Key Responsibilities Create specialized mechanical components and systems using advanced 3D modeling and predictive modeling techniques.
Conduct detailed analysis and testing to ensure compliance with aerospace regulations and customer requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including suppliers and customers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
Lead cross-functional engineering projects, mentor junior engineers, and provide technical expertise as a subject matter expert.
Proactively improve tools, processes, and methodologies to enhance efficiency within the engineering department.
Ideal Candidate Profile Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
6-8 years of experience in aerospace or another safety-critical industry.
Proficient in 3D modeling tools like SolidWorks or AutoCAD Inventor, with a strong understanding of GD&T.
Hands-on experience with FEA tools, Design FMEAs, and configuration management systems.
Exceptional communication skills to articulate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proven leadership abilities with a track record of motivating and managing engineering teams.
