Person Specification Education/Qualification Essential BSc Degree in Podiatric Medicine or Diploma (if qualified prior 1991) Evidence of continual professional and personal development portfolio Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council Certificate in local anaesthesia Post graduate courses/ Education in Advanced Podiatric Practice/Diabetic Foot Module Desirable Non-medical prescriber Ionising Radiation (medical exposure) Regulations Training [IRMER] Training in requesting and interpretation of investigations relevant to foot complications Experience Essential Experience of working at a band 6 level or above and evidence of working with a high risk caseload Experience of multidisciplinary and interagency working Experience of working in a fast paced NHS environment Experience of clinical supervision and mentoring Experience of service development Experience of line management Desirable Experience of leadership of a Clinical pathway Practical application of The National Woundcare Strategy Programme Experience of PGDs Experience of sickness absence management Skills and Knowledge Essential Effective oral, listening and written communications in order to organise present and report information Understand and apply principles of Clinical Governance Key Attributes Essential Driving licence and access to a car.
