Job overview Cancer DirectorateDeputy Team Leader - Outpatients Reception and Day Treatment UnitFull Time - hours per week - months Fixed Term ContractWe have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Team Leader to join our administration team within the Cancer Directorate.
Working within our Outpatients and Day Treatment Unit you will be responsible for taking a lead in the training and induction of new staff, ensuring that processes are adhered to and adequate staffing in place to support the smooth running of these areas so that the patient experience is the best it can be.
The post also has a supervisory element and would provide an excellent opportunity for anyone seeking to build upon their NHS experience and knowledge who is ready to take on more management responsibilities.
Whilst in post we would be able to offer you training and work with you to ensure that you have the right skills to continue to develop your career within the NHS.
In return we expect you to be motivated and hard working with a positive approach to providing excellent customer service.
Main duties of the job The post holder has responsibility for the provision of a professional, comprehensive and efficient administrative service, which is effectively delivered to all patients and members of the Department.
In addition, the post holder will provide leadership to designated admin teams and act as a mentor for new members of staff.

It provides a wide range of general and specialist clinical services and is a base for medical education, training and research.
The Trust comprises four hospitals - the John Radcliffe Hospital, Churchill Hospital and Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Headington and the Horton General Hospital in Banbury.
