Our client, a multinational semiconductor and software design company seeks a Data & Insights Manager for a 6 month initially contract initially to start in January, based in Cambridge ( Hybrid), Inside IR35, up to £650 per day.
Job Overview: Are you able to shape the way an organisation captures and utilises its data to inspire change?
We are seeking an innovative and passionate individual with a track record of leading a data insights function to join the global IT department.
Using your best-in-class visualisation skills, you will be responsible for the reporting and insights function, leading a team of data analysis professionals to deliver reliable, transparent data insights to the most senior levels of the organisation.
Responsibilities: Provides robust, reliable, and informative data for key IT decision-making, including operational performance, portfolio performance, headcount data, and more.
Works with various levels of management and leadership roles to identify business requirements and develop innovative solutions.
Crafts the reporting cycle, ensuring the right data is delivered to the right people, at the right time, to drive insightful decision-making.
Establishes, owns, and evolves the mechanisms to capture, validate, and visualise data sources.
Leads data analysis and data visualisation professionals, developing their skills and knowledge and ensuring the team is able to meet the needs of the department.
Required Skills and Experience: Sophisticated and extensive experience of data visualisation software - particularly PowerBI.
Good understanding of database management, data processing technologies, and data warehouse design.
Highly-developed presentation skills, comfortable holding the attention of VP-level partners and above.
Exceptional attention to detail, able to spot to the tiniest flaws that can have a major impact on data integrity.
Experience in leading data engineering or reporting teams.
" Nice To Have" Skills and Experience: Solid understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles, and/or Portfolio, Programme, and Project Management.
A degree in Data Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
