Main duties of the job Wehave an exciting opportunity for an Information Management and Technology(IM&T) Technical Support Analyst to join the Data Centre &Infrastructure (DC&I) services Team.Thesuccessful applicant will be highly motivated, service-focussed, and passionateabout the delivery of high-quality IT solutions and will be expected to workflexibly to provide core service coverage between 08:00 and 18:00 (Monday toFriday), undertake emergency duties as required, and may be required to performplanned essential maintenance and upgrade tasks outside core hours.Thesuccessful applicant will ideally be experienced in the workings of a busy ITsupport department and have a positive, can do attitude.Theposition requires a person with well-developed analytical and communicationsskills coupled with the ability to establish good reliable workingrelationships with fellow work colleagues, third parties and end users, whereappropriate.
As such, a well-organised and reliable approach is required as isthe capability to work under pressure and to occasionally meet strictdeadlines.
