Closing Date2024-12-22Job Title: Asset Data AnalystLocation: Durrington (Worthing) HybridContract Type: PermanentHours: 37 hours a week (part time will be considered)Salary: Up to £38,500 DOEThere has never been a better time to join our organisation as we build towards a greener future, tackling climate change, minimising our environmental impact and reducing our carbon footprintDuring a time of huge transformation at Southern Water, we are looking to improve data capture and work towards being a data-led organisation.A new asset management software is in the process of being rolled out, and you will be joining the team at the beginning of this journey.Job OverviewThe main purpose of this role is working to improve the data quality from operational sites; making sure operational staff are utilising the available software and entering data accurately.You will be working with both operational site asset data and below ground infrastructure asset data, along with stock assets.
As well as analysing performance and quality data you will be helping develop processes to enable a continuous improvement model.Day to day you will be:Extracting dataUndertaking data quality checksPreparing data for new software releasesAnalysing data trends and looking at where work can be improved or areas of underperformanceLiaising with operational stuff to ensure data is captured correctlyAbout YouYou will be an experienced Data Analyst, with experience of asset management and dealing with data in this area including the use of a relevant asset management system, such as Maximo.
This role is reliant on you communicating effectively and building relationships with operational staff all over our region.You will be:Experienced Data Analyst (in asset management)Excellent people person and communicatorAble to build relationships with internal stakeholdersIdeally experience with an asset management system such as MaximoPackageThis role will be full time Monday to Friday with a hybrid approach to working between our Durrington (Worthing) office and home.
We operate a flexible hybrid working model, with 2 days in the office and 3 from home.
