Contract: Fixed term, from Jan 2025 for 9 months

We are looking for a full time, Level 3 qualified Room Leader to join our Bright Horizons Little Stars situated in Didcot. This role will be based within our cosy baby room, leading the team to provide excellent care to the smallest members of our nursery.
The beautiful 63-place nursery is proudly rated 'Good' by Ofsted and is based in Didcot with onsite parking and good transport links. The nursery offers a wide range of extracurricular activities such as Forest School, and features well-resourced rooms and a spacious garden for lots of outdoor teaching and learning

What you'll be doing: Lead, mentor and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education Ensure the learning environment provides consistent stimulation and engaging activities for the children, across both the indoor and outdoor areas Deliver and plan rich learning opportunities and exceptional care, to help all children to develop and meet their individual milestones Develop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents and/or carers, as well as other professionals, to meet the individual needs of each child Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment What we're looking for: Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential) Previous experience working within an Early Years setting - ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator or similar Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults Bright Horizons are committed to creating inclusive environments where everyone has a sense of belonging and has the opportunity to contribute and thrive in meaningful and impactful ways.
