Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Static Site (Salisbury) Job Opportunity: We are recruiting for a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our on-site team at a well-established commercial property in Salisbury.
Salary: £37,000 per annum Holiday Package: 24 days holiday + 8 bank holidays Call-Out Rota: 1 in 4 call-out shifts, with £100 standby payment for each week on-call and a pool car provided Working Hours: 40 hours per week Location: Salisbury (Static Site) Main Responsibilities: Electrical Maintenance & Repairs: Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across the site, ensuring electrical systems are fully operational and compliant.
Fault Diagnosis: Quickly identify and resolve electrical faults, providing efficient solutions to keep the site running smoothly.
Health & Safety Compliance: Maintain high standards of safety and ensure that all electrical systems comply with regulations and company policies.
Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and routine maintenance to prevent issues before they arise.
Documentation: Keep accurate and detailed records of maintenance activities, fault reports, and repairs for internal reporting.
Requirements: Experience: Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, ideally within a commercial, retail, or facilities management environment.
Qualifications: 17th or 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations, along with an electrical apprenticeship or equivalent qualification (C&G Lv3 or NVQ Lv3 etc.).
Skills: Strong fault-finding abilities and a good working knowledge of electrical systems and plant equipment.
Self-sufficiency: Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and handle on-call duties.
Location: Based in or around Salisbury, with a reliable commute to the site.
