If so, Chapman Tate Associates is thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for a 2nd Line Engineer to join a fast-paced, innovative MSP client.
As a 2nd Line Engineer , you will be the go-to person for technical issues escalated from the 1st line team.
You'll troubleshoot, resolve, and maintain IT infrastructure and cloud-based solutions, ensuring clients experience seamless service delivery.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of technologies, including Windows and Linux environments, making every day unique and challenging.
Key Responsibilities: Provide 2nd line technical support for a range of IT infrastructure and cloud environments.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
Collaborate with 1st and 3rd line teams to escalate and resolve complex technical problems.
Implement and maintain cloud services, including Microsoft Azure or AWS.
Contribute to the deployment and management of virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V).
Work on Linux-based systems (nice-to-have skill).
Document solutions, processes, and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Your Skills and Experience: Proven experience in a 2nd line support role within an MSP environment.
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
Experience working with Linux systems is highly desirable.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a client-focused mindset.
