Your new role Key Responsibilities: Curriculum Development: Design and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and educational standards.
Instruction: Deliver high-quality instruction in various branches of science, including biology, chemistry, physics, and earth sciences.
Assessment: Evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and respect.
Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest educational trends and advancements in science education through continuous professional development.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the school administration to support student success and school initiatives.
Extracurricular Activities: Lead or participate in science-related extracurricular activities, such as science clubs, fairs, and field trips.
Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Science Education or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
Certification: Valid teaching certification for secondary education.
Experience: Previous teaching experience in a secondary school setting is highly desirable.
Skills: Strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
The ability to engage and motivate students with diverse learning needs.
