We are currently seeking full-time Band 2 Healthcare Assistants for day shifts in Belfast Trust hospitals.
Positions are available Monday to Friday, offering flexible hours to suit your schedule.
Job Summary We are looking for compassionate and skilled individuals to deliver person-centered care in hospital settings.
Working under the supervision of Registered Nurses, you will assist in providing a high standard of care, ensuring patients dignity, respect, and consent are maintained.
Key Responsibilities Provide direct personal care and follow agreed care plans.
Assist patients with daily activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, eating, and drinking.
Record and report care activities to the nurse-in-charge.
Support with patients belongings, laundry, and meal preparation.
Participate in maintaining a clean, safe environment and assist with nutritional support.
Deliver high standards of practice, including end-of-life care, with compassion and professionalism.
Uphold confidentiality, teamwork, and a patient-focused approach.
Essential Criteria NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
Experience in providing direct patient care in a healthcare setting.
Willingness to complete training and comply with regulatory requirements.
Additional Information Successful candidates will need to complete an Enhanced Access NI application.
