Skill set required: · Employing technical proficiency and creative vision to produce visually compelling footage that captivates and resonates with viewers.
· A thorough understanding of pre-production, demonstrating the ability to plan and prepare for a shoot.
Determining the objectives, core messaging, and identifying the target demographic of the video.
· Skilfully operating video cameras to achieve optimal exposure, focus, and composition, while also leveraging lighting techniques to enhance the mood, atmosphere, and narrative impact of the content.
· An extensive knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (After Effects and Premier Pro are essential.
Audition, Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop are desirable but not essential) · The ability to craft a cohesive narrative from your footage.
Selecting the best shots, arranging them in a logical sequence, and removing any unnecessary or distracting elements, ensuring that the story flows smoothly, keeping your viewers engaged from start to finish.
· Animating graphic elements, such as text, icons, illustrations, and images, ensuring these elements can move, change shape, scale, rotate, and transition in various ways to create engaging visuals.
· A good knowledge of colour grading, ensuring that the colours are balanced, vibrant, and consistent throughout the video, enhancing the visual appeal and helping to convey the desired emotional impact.
· Creating a specific look or mood, matching one shot to the next and adding depth and contrast to the final video.
· The ability to enhance audio quality, adjust levels, and add background music or sound effects to create an immersive audio experience.
· Ensuring all equipment remains in fully working order, keeping software up to date, lenses clean, batteries charged and stored neatly.
