Description Permanent contract, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year To contribute to the Department's aim in providing high quality learning and teaching, assisting in the development, organisation and delivery of the curriculum area.
Managing, reviewing and assessing a range of programmes and levels across the Education and Health strands, and providing tutor support.
To ensure that the achievement rates of learners are at or above the level set by the college.

Key Responsibilities To deliver high standards of teaching and learning and to monitor assessment processes in accordance with awarding body requirements.
To provide induction, initial assessment, advice and guidance to learners who are undertaking full time programmes of study.
To deliver departmental requirements of core and additional programmes including paediatric first aid, safeguarding, food safety and personal tutoring.
To support, advise and assist learners.
To support the delivery on the new combined NCFE Level 1, transition to T-Level, Level 3 T-Level and HE programmes as required by the demands of the curriculum.
Producing schemes of work, lesson plans, assessment plans, learning materials and any other related activities that impact on the effectiveness of learning.
To co-ordinate and maintain records of formative and summative assessments of students' learning carried out by the course team.
To communicate external examination entry and timetable arrangements to the course team and students.
Deal with queries when supervising learners.
To work pro-actively to forward the success and vision of the department and the College.
Make a positive contribution to the college's teaching and learning objectives, demonstrating a commitment to raising standards and sharing good practice.
Participate in the promotional and marketing aspects of the college.
