JOB TITLE: INDUSTRIAL SEWING MACHINIST RESPONSIBLE TO: PRODUCTION MANAGER JOB PURPOSE: To sew heavy duty cloth and leather for automotive seating What's on offer: Days of work: Monday to Friday  Hours of work : 08:00 - 17:00, Early finish on Fridays Salary: £11.44ph - £13.50ph depending on experience Potential to go permanent after 6 months  What the job include: Previous industrial sewing machine experience Ability to work a physically demanding job Able to follow written instructions accurately What we need from you: A good work ethic To be physically fit Good communication skills Able to work using own initiative Above all, reliability  Own transport essential due to location MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: To produce high quality products that meet specifications, both as a part of a team and independently.
To achieve all individual performance standards as agreed.
Follow works instructions to ensure accuracy on specifications.
Quality inspect sewn products.
Minimise and control all waste.
Carry out daily pre-use machines checks and maintenance.
