Teaching Personnel is looking for a driven and passionate Teaching Assistant in a school within North Bristol.
This school is an esteemed institution committed to excellence.
As part of a Multi Academy Trust, they're dedicated to fostering mutual growth with a child-centred approach emphasizing emotionally intelligent relationships between staff, parents, students, and governors.
In this Teaching Assistant position, you will be supporting with diverse special educational needs such as: Speech and language difficulties Down Syndrome Autism Allowing these students to access learning alongside teachers both inside and outside of the classroom.

Key Responsibilities: Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
Assist in preparing teaching materials and resources.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, helping with their learning and development.
Support students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) where appropriate.
Help manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment.
Assist in supervising students during break times, lunch, and extracurricular activities.
Help with administrative tasks and record-keeping as directed by the teaching staff.
The successful educator will have: No formal teaching qualifications required, but a keen interest in education and child development.
Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is desirable, but not essential.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards helping children learn.
Ability to follow instructions and use initiative when needed.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
