Liaise with local authorities, Occupational Therapists, and other regulatory bodies to ensure that the adaptations meet all statutory requirements.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with clients, particularly disabled individuals and their families, to ensure that their specific requirements are met within the scope of the grant.
Act as the main point of contact for all financial aspects of the project, fostering positive relationships with clients, contractors, and local authorities.
Requirements: Education: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Professional Accreditation: RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or CIOB (Chartered Institute of Building) membership preferred.
Experience: Proven experience working in quantity surveying roles, preferably in residential adaptations, housing projects, or DFG-funded schemes.

IT Skills: Proficient in MS Office, project management software, and cost-estimating tools such as CostX or similar.
Desirable: Familiarity with relevant grant funding systems and processes.
Experience working with vulnerable individuals and adapting living spaces for accessibility.
Knowledge of JCT, NEC, or other standard forms of construction contracts.
