As a Lecturer in Accounting, you will have a focus on providing high-quality learning and teaching that is underpinned by scholarly activity.
We are keen to receive applications from people who will enhance our delivery of and reputation in Accounting.
Applicants should hold relevant qualifications in the subject area and prior experience of supporting student learning, teaching and assessment in higher education and/or in industry settings is essential.
Relevant industry experience would be looked upon favourably and the post could suit an individual with an industry background able to demonstrate the potential for high quality teaching.Lecturers are expected to contribute to the delivery and assessment of existing modules, supervision, and the enhancement of the student experience across the range of undergraduate, postgraduate and graduate apprenticeship programmes.
Applicants will be required to teach Accounting subjects at all levels, particularly in the areas of Tax and Public Sector Accounting.
The Department of Finance, Accounting and Risk promotes innovation in learning and teaching and, therefore, we are keen to appoint an individual with experience of e-learning and online environments.
A higher education teaching qualification and/or Fellow status with AdvanceHE is desirable.
