We are seeking Full time health care assistants in Craigavon Hospital Monday - Friday.
Hours can be flexible Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to assist in providing high-quality, person-centered care for patients and their families.
Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Midwife, you will support patients in all aspects of personal care, ensuring dignity, respect, and consent are upheld at all times.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct personal care and follow agreed care plans.
Support patients with daily activities, including eating, drinking, and personal hygiene, and accurately report care activities to the nurse-in-charge.
Assist with patients clothing, laundry, and personal belongings.
Prepare and serve meals and beverages, and support patients with their nutritional needs.
Maintain high standards of practice and participate in end-of-life care for patients and their families.
Uphold confidentiality, respect patients beliefs and wishes, and foster a positive, transparent team environment.
Essential Criteria: NVQ Level 2 Care Award or equivalent.
Previous experience providing direct care.
Additional Information: The successful candidate must complete an Enhanced Access NI application.
