The role: The school are looking to appoint a dynamic teacher of Computer Science to join their department from January 2025, on a full-time, temporary basis with the potential to become permanent. The successful educator will be joining a supportive department who are passionate and determined to deliver high standards to all learners. The appointed educator will teach Computer Science across KS3 and KS4, with the option of teaching at KS5 should this be of interest.
To succeed in this role, you will: Be an excellent classroom practitioner with an enjoyment of working with young people.
Have effective classroom management and an ability to demonstrate resilience in working with challenging behaviour.
Have effective time management; able to prioritise workload to meet deadlines and targets.
Be an excellent team player, genuinely committed to working in partnership with others.
Be an excellent communicator to a variety of audiences with good interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
Be a reflective practitioner committed to developing own teaching and learning strategies.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
