Role: Senior BackEnd Engineer Salary: Up to £125000 per annum depending on experience Location: UK Remote We have a permanent position available for an innovative Senior Backend Engineer to design and implement high-performance, scalable backend solutions using Python and Go (Golang).
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong interest in Cyber Security, paying between £70000 and £125000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.

To be eligible for this role, you must be a UK resident with the right to work in the UK, without the need for visa sponsorship.
The role: Designing and building robust backend systems with a focus on scalability and performance.
Writing clean, maintainable, and testable code, including creating unit tests and resolving bugs.
Developing automation frameworks and solutions in Python and Go , leveraging AWS and containerisation technologies.
Managing and optimising database systems.
Integrating backend solutions with cybersecurity exploit delivery (no need to understand the exploit code itself).
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including cybersecurity experts, to deliver innovative solutions.
Essential skills/experience required: Proficiency in Python and Go (Golang).
Hands-on experience with AWS , containers (e.g., Docker), and backend system architecture.
A commitment to writing high-quality code, including unit testing and code ownership.
Strong knowledge of databases and their optimal use cases.
A software engineering mindset, with a creative approach to problem-solving.
Experience designing systems for scalability and efficiency at scale.
Desirable : An interest in or knowledge of cybersecurity (e.g., OSCP certification or personal projects).
Familiarity with offensive security concepts (although they can train you on specifics).
Experience in building backend systems for large-scale environments.
