Role: Acquisition Safety & Environment Engineer Contract Length: Until 31/03/25 Location:Hybrid/Bristol - 60% in office IR35: Inside Pay Rate to Intermediary: Market Rate Security Clearance: SC requested Spinwell is recruiting for an Acquisition Safety & Environment Engineer for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACQUISITION SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT ENGINEER To work within an ITS-SED multi-discipline Acquisition Safety and Environmental Protection (ASEP) team.
Operating as an effective safety and / or environmental protection manager or providing support to safety and environmental protection activities (i.e.
the implementation of POSMS and POEMS, compliance with applicable military regulation and defence standards, DE&S aspects of the management of in-service capability); where the resource is expected to manage the tasks assigned to them by ITS-SED.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE ACQUISITION SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT ENGINEER Recognised practitioner or higher by an environmental professional body Experience in applying client policy and process, including POEMS Experience of developing compliance arguments against environmental standards (including legislation, regulation, client policy and defence regulations) Ability to facilitate SQEP body reviews and assessments Ability to communicate and lead technical discussions with all levels within the business If you are an Acquisition Safety & Environment Engineer, apply now or send your CV to Spinwell
