RAC Field Based Technicians bring their technical expertise to our customers on a mobile basis, doing a variety of work including inspections.
This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled, field-based vehicle technicians to join our rapidly growing team.
We bring the van, tools and bookings - you bring your personality, customer-service and experience.
You'll have the full support of a network of other mobile mechanics, roadside technicians, in-house experts and RAC professionals.

What you'll get with the RAC Salary: £36,180 with an exceptional career progression plan to increase your base salary to £38,880 (Inclusive of London Weighting where eligible) Full time hours with opportunities for overtime, paid at 1.5x hourly rate Work pattern of 35-hours weekly, Monday to Saturday between 8am - 8pm Holiday allowance of 23 days (rising to 25 with service) + bank holidays Family leave support including paid time off, flexibility and resources to help balance work and family commitments Option to join RAC's Group Personal Pension scheme where we will match / contribute up to 6.5% on qualifying earnings 2x Basic Salary Core Employer Funded Life Assurance cover (4x for pension scheme members) with the option to flex up to 10x cover through our flexible benefits offering Confidential personal support service, available 24 hours per days every day of the year for both you and any family members aged 16+ in your household Car salary sacrifice scheme after 12 months of employment.
