We are specialists in the property management of retirement living developments and part of the Churchill group of companies.
With ambitious plans to grow our portfolio of stunning apartments across the UK, we are now recruiting for an exceptional Head of Property Services to join the team.
About the role The Head of Property Services will operate at both strategic and operational level and responsibilities will increase in line with our continued growth.
?Working closely with Regional and Area Managers you will ensure that all property related matters are dealt with in a cohesive, timely and efficient manner.
?The main duties and responsibilities are to develop, implement and maintain property management policy, processes and procedures.
With the support of your team, you will oversee planned and reactive maintenance works across our portfolio of over 200 retirement developments, nationally.
This will require extensive travel across the UK.?As Head of Property Services, you will be responsible for Asset Management and planning, and will have the opportunity to help steer and develop a new asset management database.?You will take overall responsibility for the national and regional contractor, sub-contractor and supplier agreements to ensure exceptional quality of work and value for money.
The successful applicant will also provide advice and guidance on emergency works and management information in respect of property maintenance costs to help inform future service charge budgets and planned maintenance schedules to enhance service levels for Owners.?The role will require you to manage a team of Building Surveyors, Contracts Manager and Property Services Administration.?The hours of work are 9.00am – 5.30pm, Monday to Thursday and 9.00am – 5.00pm on Friday.
About you Our ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent knowledge of construction and property management, educated to HNC/degree level or equivalent in a related property construction or property subject.
Ideally with a professional qualification in construction such as RICS or CIOB.
?Key competencies required of the role are excellent communication skills, organisational attributes, a high standard of technical writing and presentation skills, sound judgment and professional, managerial skills.
