Coordinating the full lifecycle of the firm's legal apprenticeship and graduate trainee programmes, your role as an Early Careers Advisor will be varied, involving the attraction, recruitment and development of early careers talent for the firm.As the Early Careers Advisor you will: Plan and manage the recruitment process for Early Careers, including graduates and legal apprenticeships.Build relationships with educational providers and organise for the firm to have a regular presence at law fairs and other networking events.Keep the graduate recruitment website and social media platforms up to date, and work with the marketing team to create engaging content.Review and shortlist applications via the ATS, managing the screening process and ensuring candidates receive timely updates throughout the process.Plan, coordinate and deliver assessment centre and vacation schemes, ensuring detailed feedback over the phone to all candidates who have attended.Manage the offer process for all successful candidates, keeping in regular contact and ensuring a smooth onboarding process.Manage and coordinate seat moves, the qualification process, including internal NQ retention, and coordinate regular development check-ins, supporting trainees with the process, wellbeing and careers advice.Support with the recruitment of external NQs and paralegal resource, including advertising vacancies, shortlisting and screening candidates, arranging interviews and coordinating offers and/or feedback.
We are looking for: Knowledge and experience of graduate recruitment within either a legal or professional services environment is preferred.Experience of working with a HR or recruitment environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence to present to an audience.Excellent planning and organising skills, managing multiple tasks/activities/projects to ensure that deadlines are achieved.Excellent relationship builder both within the firm and with candidates, with the ability to effectively manage expectations.Tenacity, resilience and patience when dealing with difficult and challenging issues with a solutions orientated approach.
Some of our benefits include: Earn up to 10% of your salary with our annual bonus scheme.Minimum of 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays per year increasing to 31 days with length of service, with the opportunity to buy/sell up to 5 days holiday per year.Auto enrolled into the workplace pension scheme, and we'll contribute a minimum of 6% of your salary.4x your annual salary in the event of a death in service.Hybrid and flexible working with 40-60% of your time spent in the office – in this role, you will be required to be available some evenings to attend events.
