Position: Groundworker Location: Newton Abbot, Devon, UK Project: Civils work Salary: £22.00 per hour Hours: 07:30-17:00, Overtime available Start date: Beginning of January 2025 Type: Temporary Employment- Up to 2 Years Work Requirements: Valid CPCS or NPORS with CSCS logo (Forward Tipping Dumper and Ride-on Roller).
Safety Critical Medical (SC Medical).
Must be able to pass DBS (criminality background check) Foundation Personnel are seeking Groundworkers with forward tipping dumper and ride-on roller tickets to be part of a civils gang for a civil engineering project in Newton Abbot, Devon.
The client is a well-respected contractor delivering high-standard infrastructure projects across the UK.
The successful candidates will be responsible for assisting with various civil works, including earthmoving, drainage, and surfacing.
Key Responsibilities: Operate forward tipping dumper and ride-on roller as required on site.
Assist in general groundworks, including drainage, kerbing, and foundations.
Ensure all work is completed to project specifications and safety standards.
Work closely with other team members and follow site supervisor's instructions.
Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are used safely and effectively.
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications and Experience: A valid CPCS or NPORS (with CSCS logo) card is essential.
Experience operating forward tipping dumper and ride-on roller on civil engineering projects.
Safety Critical Medical is required.
Proven experience working as a Groundworker in the construction industry.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Must be able to provide 2 references.
