Job summary Working within our nursing team, phlebotomy services play a vital role in providing patient access to screening blood tests.
Main duties of the job The duties of the role are to work with practice clinical and administrative colleagues, primarily within the nursing team for providing phlebotomy / venepuncture services to patients for taking blood samples from patients and preparing these to be sent to the laboratory for testing.

The practice as a whole is among the highest performing practices locally, driven by patient satisfaction and patient access to the highest possible standards of care.The team includes 2 Practice Nurses, a Nurse Associate, 2 Health Care Assistants and 4 Advanced Nurse Practitioners.
We have 4 GP Partners, 2 Salaried GPs all of whom work along side our extended Primary Care team of Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, First Contact Practitioners, Mental Health Nurse, GP Assistants, Care Co-ordinators and Health and Wellbeing Coaches.As a Training Practice we also support GP Registrar Placements, placements for medical students as well as student nurses and other apprenticeships.
